MySpace DJ Page of the Year
We thought it was high time we gave an award to the DJ with an understanding of marketing and branding. As much as skill is an important part of being a great DJ, self-promotion and networking is also very important. The Stylus Group and MySpace Canada have teamed up to award the DJ with the best MySpace Page.
MySpace is calling all DJs to submit their URLs and the best 5 will be chosen by YOUR MySpace Friends and the award will be presented at one of the events taking place during the Stylus SpinFest.
The Top 5 MySpace pages will be chosen based on the following criteria:
* Page Design
* Fan Base Communication (page comments & blog comments)
* Use of Profile (blogs, music player, calendar, etc.)
* Overall Creativity
Once the 5 DJs have been chosen by MySpace, MySpacers will have an opportunity to see all the pages and vote for their favorite DJ MySpace page.
Submissions start May 1st thru to 7th and the contest begins May 19th thru May 25th 2008, so get your MySpace Profile poppin’!
RULES:
* leave a comment on www.myspace.com/stylusdjawards blog with your MySpace DJ url to submit your DJ page.
* If you are not a DJ, you can submit a MySpace DJ url on behalf of your favorite DJ.
* Only one DJ page per DJ (i.e. if a DJ had more than one MySpace DJ profile, please submit the BEST of all the profiles).
*This contest is applicable to Canadian DJs only.
