What a great title track from the Prime Minister himself, it’s very self explanatory.  With 2 weeks to go, Young Jeezy is gearing up for the release of his third solo LP, The Recession.  And it seems that a lot of music artists out there are one way or another laying down verses that talk about the upcoming U.S. Presidential election.  Featured on this cut is probably the most outspoken rapper on the political tip - Nas.  The production was done by Tha Bizness who were producers of R. Kelly’s ‘Hair Braider’.  The Recession will be in stores Tuesday, September 02, 2008 via Def Jam Records.

DJ Khaled ft. Kanye West

& T-Pain - Go Hard

This is the brand new single off the upcoming We Global album, by the maestro mogul known as DJ Khaled.  Production is once again by The Runners and features T-Pain, the #1 hook singer in the game, as well as the #1 rapper in the game - Mr. Kanye West.  This record is real powerful, in fact it should have been released as the first offering of new material from Khaled’s third solo album.  ‘Out Here Grindin’ was a subpar record, it was never a ’We Takin’ Over’ caliber type joint.  However, DJ Khaled has redeemed himself with this track, it’s a real heater.  Be on the lookout for We Global, in stores Tuesday, September 16, 2008 via Koch Records.

This is one of the biggest hit records this summer and the Re – Mix just made it hotter. Toronto native Kardinal Offishall is enojying the greatest momentum of his career and his song is getting mad airplay everywhere.  Kardi collaborates once again with Reggae superstar Sean Paul, the two have worked together numerous times throughout this decade.  Be on the lookout for Kardinal Offishall’s new album Not 4 Sale, in stores Tuesday, September 09, 2008.

Monica ft. Ludacris

Monica is back with a new single featuring Atlanta neighbor Ludacris. Mrs. Rocko has been out of the game for a minute, but with production help from Bryan Michael Cox, this song is sure to catch on all urban radio formats.  This is the lead track for her upcoming fifth studio album Lessons Learned, due later this fall.  It was just yesterday that Brandy came out with a new joint, and today Monica debuted her new record.  It was 10 years ago that the duo shared a #1 hit, ‘The Boy Is Mine’.  The Darchild produced record was 1998’s biggest song while enjoying a 13 week run at the top spot of the Billboard Hot 100.

C-N-N has finally picked a lead single for their upcoming reunion album, titled Channel 10.  Production was done by that mad scientist known as The Alchemist.  The beat is hard and it’s a different sound for the group, real gritty.  I think long time CNN fans will embrace this collaboration, because the duo was never about making commercial songs, but rather street heaters that spoke for themselves.  Be on the lookout for Capone-N-Noreaga’s third studio album Channel 10, in stores Tuesday, October 21, 2008.

Brandy - Right Here (Departed)

Brandy Norwood is back after a very long hiatus from the R&B world.  The singer/actress last released an album from her long time recording label Atlantic Records in 2004.  Since then, she has stayed mute and has recently signed a deal with Epic Records.  This is her first official comeback single with production by Rodney ‘Darkchild’ Jenkins.  The hit producer seems to bring out the best in artists such as Brandy and Destiny’s Child.  Rodney samples piano piece titled, ‘Every Day’ by artist Carly Commando.  The song was made famous in 2006 as the audio to Noah Kahlina’s youtube video of 2356 days of self shot photos.

Lil’ Wayne - Pussy Monster

Check out this well hyped about track by the fireman Dwayne Carter.  It’s not new, but it’s worth a listen. The joint was produced by David Banner.  The beat is ridiculous and the rhymes are classic carter. Men and women can relate to this song! Enjoy.
