Donnie Klang – Hurt That Body
Donnie Klang’s solo debut album Just A Rolling Stone came out yesterday, and let’s just say Diddy’s current streak of #1 albums from the Making The Band series may come to a halt. With very tough competiton from same day releases as New Kids On The Block and Young Jeezy, despite Donnie’s TV presence on MTV, I predict his album will have to settle for a spot in the top 5. The expectations are a bit high considering the success of Diddy’s groups Danity Kane and Day26 achieving strong first week sales. However despite the careful timing of the current season of MTB 4, Klang’s LP will fall short. Just A Rolling Stone is a work in progress, with full of comparisons of the legendary Prince as well as the current king of Pop, Mr. Justin Timberlake…Donnie Klang’s debut has lots of potential, we’ll see if he can rise to the occassion.
