Fashion icon Yves Saint Laurent died Sunday at his home in Paris, the AFP reported. He was 71.
Retired in 2002, he had been ill for some time.
At just 21, he was named the chief designed of the House of Dior.
“His name and the familiar YSL logo became synonymous with all the latest trends,” the AFP wrote.
